The Polish Economic Institute has just published an edifying report on Poland’s involvement in the Russian-Ukrainian crisis, and particularly its aid to Ukrainian refugees.

In the six months of the conflict, 70% of the Polish population has been involved in helping Ukrainian refugees (4 million by July 2022).

Private expenditure amounts to 2.14 billion euros.

The total value of aid given by the Polish authorities and provided by Polish citizens during the first 3 months of the war is equivalent to almost 1% of Poland’s GDP.
